Timeless Design Meets Modern Function:
Architect Pamela Glazer has thoughtfully designed a commercial building at 164 Jessup Avenue, marking the first new development in Quogue Village in many years. Designed to harmonize with the town’s historic vernacular, the project expands the footprint of an existing commercial property by introducing a twin structure connected by an elegant arcade.
“It’s been a great honor to design a building that integrates so seamlessly into the fabric of Quogue Village,” says Pamela Glazer. “The community response has been overwhelmingly positive, reinforcing our commitment to contextual and timeless design.”
Connecting Spaces, Enhancing Accessibility
Spanning 3,489 square feet, the new building will house four retail spaces on the ground floor and a large second-floor office with stair tower that includes an elevator to meet ADA requirements. A pedestrian bridge will connect the second floor of the existing structure to the new building, ensuring easy accessibility. The rear of the property will feature a 29-space parking area, supporting both buildings connected to the street by an arcade that connects the existing and new buildings.
The project is slated for completion in May 2025.
