A Pavilion designed for versatility and style
Glazer's architectural design thoughtfully combines rough-sawn cedar siding with high-density fiber cement board, creating a harmonious aesthetic that complements the family's main residence, which she designed in 2019. This sophisticated material palette bridges rustic and contemporary elements, resulting in a distinctive architectural statement.
Beyond its primary function as a sports facility, the Tennis Pavillion serves as an elegant entertainment venue and guest accommodation. The custom garage showcases the owner's automotive collection with two ground-level parking spaces and dual car lifts, accommodating up to four vehicles. Additional parking has been incorporated into the landscape design to facilitate larger gatherings.
"The Tennis Pavillion has evolved into a multi-functional space that exceeds our clients' original vision," notes Glazer. "It serves as both an athletic facility and an entertainment venue, perfect for family celebrations and social events." For convenient transit between properties, the architects incorporated a dedicated golf cart path, adding another layer of thoughtful functionality to this unique Southampton compound.
